What to Expect
Grace Lutheran Church is a welcoming community of believers, led in faith and prayer by Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, committed to loving witness in service to God. As a visitor you are encouraged to sign in our guestbook located in our narthex. You can also sign our friendship registry during service, each pew has a booklet where you can sign in.
Between services we host a coffee hour in the narthex. This is a great way to meet current members and become more familiar with Grace. During that time we also have Sunday school for all ages (you can get more information on that on our Faith Formation and Fellowship page).
New Member Class
Interested in becoming a member of this congregation? A new member class will be held for five weeks in October and November in the context of our On The Way faith-formation opportunity. We’ll be working through the classic booklet Baptized We Live by Daniel Erlander for the first half hour of each session, continue with focused reading of the gospel text for the coming Sunday, and finish with conversation and prayer. And of course there will be a Taizé chant thrown in for good measure. We’ll meet in the Hoffmeister Room from 7:00-8:30 p.m. on the following Thursdays: October 5, 12, & 26 and November 2 & 9. If you have any questions or would like to attend any of these events, please call Pastor Chris Repp at 356-6232, or e-mail him at Pastor@GraceLutheranCU.org.
