“Faith is a living, bold trust in God’s grace, so certain of God’s favor that it would risk death a thousand times trusting in it. Such confidence and knowledge of God’s grace makes you happy, joyful and bold in your relationship to God and all creatures. The Holy Spirit makes this happen through faith. Because of it, you freely, willingly and joyfully do good to everyone, serve everyone, suffer all kinds of things, love and praise the God who has shown you such grace.” Martin Luther from “An Introduction to St. Paul’s Letter to the Romans,” Luther’s German Bible of 1522 , translated by Rev. Robert E. Smith.
Faith is a gift of God’s through the Holy Spirit. We are called to nurture this gift and strengthen the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit through thoughtful and deliberate acts of faith formation. These acts of faith formation, worship, prayer, education, fellowship, and service, encompass the breadth of Christian life.
At Grace, we provide opportunities to help people nurture their faith both individually and as part of a faith community. We hope you will explore the options available.
Through the Word and Holy Communion, our faith is strengthened by the Holy Spirit. For more information about Worship at Grace, click here.
Christian education prepares us for living out our faith. Grace offers educational opportunities for adults and youth both on Sunday morning and throughout the week. For more information about these activities, click here.
Fellowship is part of every activity at Grace as we are always engaged with others in our faith community. The activities under Fellowship are opportunities for those with common interests to share in those pursuits. For more information about fellowship groups, click here.
Service is faith’s outward expression to the world where we “freely, willingly and joyfully do good to everyone, serve everyone.” Grace has many opportunities to serve both the local and world communities. For more information about these activities, click here.
